Nurmijärvi Dance Institute, founded in 1985, is a modern and high-class dance school that offers classes to all ages. We provide tuition in dance according to the national curriculum for Basic Education in the Arts, approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture.. This guarantees you training at the highest level!
We offer a wide range of classes for children from the age of 3 all the way to adulthood. We have studios in Klaukkala, Nurmijärvi and Rajamäki with over 1100 students. The students are encouraged to achieve their dance potential under the guidance of our fully qualified dance teachers – whether they enjoy dancing just for fun or have more ambitious goals in dance. The language of tuition is mainly Finnish (apart from Ricky Carranza's classes - he teaches in English).
With a relaxed atmosphere and professional staff, we guarantee the best experience in dancing!
As per the regulations related to Covid-19 we have now moved to remote teaching. The students will participate from home via Zoom. We follow the normal timetable on 30th Nov-13th Dec. The links to join the classes can be found on our website. How to know which link to use? Check from the timetable in which studio your class normally is held and use the link for that studio. For example, if my class is in Kirkonkylä 1 studio, I use Kirkonkylä 1 link.
On the last week of term, 14th-19th Dec, we have a special fun programme that will be revealed during the week 50.
Please follow this link to register: https://nto.hobiver.com. New students are welcome anytime during the term.
